Edgar Degas typically captured his subjects in "photographic" portraits in the midst of their daily activity. In this scene, Degas illustrates the charm and elegance of a group of dancers in the midst of their daily rehearsal. Colors are muted with light blues and greens in the center with splashes of red and a red rolled trim. Made from silk chiffon, imported, approx. 34" square.
